This is a very direct and straight-forward question that we must all ask ourselves. Really. I hear a lot of people complain pretty much about everything and anything. The day’s too hot…it’s too cold. The water’s not cold enough…the water doesn’t taste good. Hey, you got water and you woke up today! Enough already.
We need to decide once and for all if we’re “In” or “Out”. When you decide you’re out, I don’t mean you have to end it all and commit the “S” deed. Don’t do that. Don’t even think that way. No. I just mean you have to stop dreaming and just settle and live a life without meaning. Each and everyone of us is free to make that decision. No one is stopping us.
Stop dreaming, quit whatever you’re pursuing and just…exist. Go through your day, then sit in front of the TV all night and do the same thing over again for the next several decades. Believe it or not, most Americans live that way. You won’t be alone. Go on. I challenge you. Do it. Well?!
Those who said “yes” to being “out” will probably stop reading this by now and possibly even throw something at their computer screens. They’re probably even going to say, “The hell with you, Zafra! ‘The Family Guy’ is on TV now. How dare you waste my valuable time with your senseless thoughts! Let me just settle in here and…honey, could you get me a beer?! Hurry up! It’s about to start. Zafra…the hell with you! This is MY life! I got Social Security. I got beer. I’ll be all right.” So they say…
I say to them: “Good luck, buddy. I’m sure you’ll be all right (I hope). See you around…or maybe not.”
Now for those who say “I’m In!”: Welcome to the scariest experience you’ll ever go through; but, you’ll be glad you did it anyway.
Now, here’s the deal: We must stop complaining and just make “IT” happen…no matter how long it takes! Now, you might be asking: “What is “IT”? Only you can answer that. Find your “IT”, then go after “IT” like a junkyard dog that hasn’t eaten for 4 days and just got thrown a grilled, rare 5-pound piece of bone-in Rib Eye steak from Gelson’s. We must be that determined. Otherwise, our “IT” will elude us. It will just hover within our thoughts and never show up in our lives. We must be hungry!…hungry enough to feel like going #1 in our pants because we’re sooo scared, but go through the process anyway. We must say to ourselves: “Who cares about going # 1, or even # 2, in my pants? I got extra clothes!”
Something happened today that made me write these thoughts. Two choppers were hovering where we live, so I did what any normal person would do: I went to the scene of the event. When I got there, I found out someone going through her normal day just suddenly got an appointment to have a late lunch with GOD.
She was going through one of the main streets with Eucalyptus trees in the middle island here in Newport Beach, then just like that, she suddenly saw all white and heard the “loud voice”. The big tree fell on her car and hit her with a sniper’s precision. Wrong place… wrong time. Nobody’s fault. She was alive for a few minutes, then she was gone…just like that. Now that’s wildly intense or intensely wild, depending on where your current thoughts are. I thought both. I was aimlessly walking the streets for a while thinking: “She brushed her teeth this morning, went about her day, then KAPOW!…just like that. She’s not going home tonight. She’s not going home at all.” That thought blew me away.
Life’s short, everyone. We don’t know what “later” holds. It’s a very disturbing thought, but it’s what we have to deal with…all of us. Let’s make this gift we all call LIFE count. Let’s stop being negative, stop complaining, and just GO-FOR-”IT”! Let’s not even think about it. Let’s just do it. Let’s make each moment count.
Let me ask you this: If given a choice, who would you rather be? Would you rather be a billionaire with terminal sickness or a healthy, homeless person without money? Being homeless and broke is not really an excuse for not making “IT” happen anymore. If you don’t agree with me, do your research. Anyone involved with MLSP knows what I’m talking about. For those of you not involved with MLSP http://www.sevenfiguremastermindteam.com/thezafragroupyet, click our link and join! It’s the best thing you could ever do for yourself…in my opinion.
Decide, then pursue whatever you decide. Make “IT” happen…whatever “IT” may be for you. Start NOW! Whatever challenges you may currently have, deal with it. That’s all we can do. Complaining or being negative won’t help. That will just aggravate things. I can guarantee you now that however bad the current circumstances may be, the lady who went through that painful and sad experience today would not hesitate to change places with any of us right now…if she was only given a second chance. So, suck it up and go for it! Remember: you read this far so that means “You’re In!” Congratulations! Welcome to our world! Now, let’s get to work!
